He never reached the NHL, but Larry Olimb was one of the best college hockey players I ever saw. He could (and did) play each position, was a tremendous passer and playmaker, and a great leader. He has started doing television work for FSN broadcasts of Wild and Gophers games this year. Along with the card, he included a nice note and thanked me for the letter.
