Bowman is from New Westminster, British Columbia -- the same town that produced Justin Morneau. After being cut loose by the Mets, he signed on with his home country's Toronto Blue Jays. He's destroying AA pitching for New Hampshire so far this season (16 HR, .552 slugging percentage, .915 OPS through 70 games).
