This past spring, my cable subscription was upgraded to include the MLB Network. It was pretty much the best thing that has ever happened to my television. Part of it is the always-interesting programming, but my favorite aspect of the network is probably the top-notch analysts. Outside from two particular over-caffeinated meatheads (Kevin Millar and Eric Byrnes), the ex-ballplayers on the station know their stuff inside and out, are good on their toes, and have interesting things to say. Plesac is the best of the bunch, and when he's paired with Harold Reynolds it's must-see television for me.
