Notes:
As a kid, the title "My Favorite Player" was a fast-moving one, at least until I settled on Jim Kelly.  Tommy Kramer was the first player to hold the honor, as the quarterback of the Vikings. Two-Minute Tommy was also the first athlete I met and received an autograph from, at a sporting goods store in Bloomington called Pro Central, circa 1982.  After a flurry of Vikings following Kramer's 1983 injury, I found Jim McMahon.  He was easy to love.  He was a cartoon character.  He was brash.  He wore sunglasses and a headband, and was about as badass as a quarterback could be... which was a perfect fit for the legendary '85 Bears.  Several years later, he came to Minnesota to lead the Vikings to a division title (1993).  I'm pretty thrilled to add his signature to the collection.
