Krygier was the kind of gritty, workmanlike player that I loved. He also wore the Hartford Whalers sweater, which I loved even more. I have a fascination with defunct NHL franchises. I'm sure I'll be sending to plenty of players from the Whalers, Winnipeg Jets, and Quebec Nordiques. Probably because I still can't get over the loss of my Minnesota North Stars.
