Notes:
Kelly Hrudey was a solid (if unspectacular) goaltender for 14 NHL seasons, most notably for Gretzky's L.A. Kings. In hindsight, there could not have been a more perfect goalie for that team. With his mullet and bandana, he exuded early '90s Hollywood. He helped the Kings to their only Stanley Cup Finals appearance in 1993 and spent three more years in L.A. before finishing his career up the coast in San Jose. He is now best known as an analyst for Hockey Night in Canada. In addition to signing these cards, Mr. Hrudey included a brief note thanking me for my letter.
