Former Steelers All-Pro Harry Newsome signed as a free agent with the Vikings in 1990 and over the next four seasons posted stats that hold their own with any other punter in team history. In fact, I can't figure out why he was out of the league after turning 30. He did have a lot of blocked punts, but his distance would seem to make up for that. As far as I'm concerned, he's one of the best the Purple have seen.
