Bryan Hinkle was a tough-as-nails Steelers linebacker, a link between the Jack Ham-Jack Lambert crew of the '70s and Bill Cowher's revolving door of star linebackers in the '90s. He seems largely underrated and forgotten these days, as if it was his fault he had the misfortune of playing during the Steelers' longest lull of success over the past forty years.
