Notes:
Johnny Briggs played one partial season for the Twins at the tail end of a pretty solid big league career. He was a valuable role player for the Phillies of the '60s before coming to the American League with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1971. He became somewhat of a star with that fledgling young Brew Crew, hitting between 17 and 21 home runs in each of his four full seasons there before coming to the Twins in a 1975 deal in exchange for Bobby Darwin.
