Item Received: 1966 Topps, black & white postcard. Both signed and personalized in black ballpoint.
Notes:
A former All-American quarterback at Tennessee State University, Valentine was a talented athlete who only harnessed his combination of power and speed for one standout big league season. In 1966 he compiled a .276/.351/.455 batting line with 16 home runs and 22 stolen bases. I love getting signatures from guys who played in the '60s, and these are fantastic additions to the ol' collection.
